Fisher Center Named “Best of the Best” Project by ENR

NASHVILLE, TN – February 20, 2023 – The Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Belmont University is the recipient of the “Best of the Best Projects” award in the Higher Education/Research category from Engineering News-Record.

This national recognition was recieved after the Fisher Center won the regional award from ENR Southeast in October 2022. The venue is now in the running for the Project of the Year Award, which will be announced on March 20, 2023 by ENR.

More than 600 teams submitted entries to the regional Best Projects competition for work completed between May 2021 and May 2022. Each project was judged based on qualities of teamwork, safety, innovation, overcoming challenges, and quality.

We are grateful for our wonderful partners and contractors on the building, R.C. Mathews Contractor, who submitted the Fisher Center for this award.
