July 20, 2023 – The Fisher Center at Belmont University has been recognized as the Palladio Award winner for the Commercial, New Design & Construction (more than 30,000 square feet) category!

Described as “an architectural and acoustic tour de force, … a transformative landmark in the music-centric city of Nashville,” notable features of the Fisher Center include the art-glass windows, 1,700-seat performance hall with an acoustically transparent dome, and two ballrooms designed with different acoustic capabilities.

The Palladio Design Awards are produced by TRADITIONAL BUILDING and PERIOD HOMES magazines, and presented by The Traditional Building Conference Series. The Palladio Awards honor outstanding achievements in traditional design and is the first and only national awards program for the traditional design of residential and commercial projects.

Entries to the 2023 competition were judged by a panel of architectural designers who looked for factors such as refinement of design, suitability of design, appropriate selection and use of materials, quality of construction and overall design excellence.
